As your Funeral Celebrant, Diana will work with the family to ease the burden of organising the service by suggesting music, poems or religious verse, providing the welcome and introduction, give a reading of your choice, or one suggested as appropriate, write the Eulogy and introduce the family members or friends who may wish to give the Tribute. She will officiate the Committal, suggest selections of appropriate music for entering and exiting the chapel and spend time with the mourners after the service offering comfort and assurance.
She is also happy to work directly with individuals who have specific wishes for their own funeral services. As your Funeral Celebrant, she believes it is vital that the service is conducted as you would wish, and with compassion and comfort. It could include readings, music and inspiration that you would like your mourners to be comforted by. She will gladly work with you today to draft the script for your service which could then be lodged safely until needed. This eases the pressure from the family who are invariably dealing with their own grief and loss, and makes for a more meaningful service of thanksgiving. Knowing that the loved one has participated in the drafting of his or her own service gives comfort by sharing words and favourite passages specifically chosen by the loved one whose life is being celebrated.
